Jazzpodium Drienerlo (JPD) organizes jazz concerts on the campus of the University of Twente. Innovation, originality and freshness are always the key words while selecting potential acts. The enthousiastic jazz lovers that form JPD always do their best to program the top of the Dutch ánd the international jazz scene. The concerts, about 6 a year, are being held in the very nice Amphi Theatre in De Vrijhof, with an intimate atmosphere and (not unimportant) fantastic acoustic qualities. But JPD does more than only that. On listening evenings, the newest jazz discoveries are being exchanged. Furthermore, in association with jazzcursus.nl, JPD is involved in giving courses about jazz: 'Jazz – Luisteren En Ontdekken' (which stands for 'Listening And Discovering Jazz').
